Mysterious disappearance of Saudi intelligence officer raises speculation

The Saudi authorities’ policy of forcibly disappear anyone who opposes its policy or criticizes the regime in the Kingdom continues. The latest evidence of which is a mysterious disappearance of a Saudi intelligence officer, which sparked speculation.

The Saudi dissent, Jumana Al-Sanea, said that he had received confirmed information about the sudden disappearance of the Saudi intelligence officer, “Fahd al-Fakher,” the friend of Major General Abdul Aziz al-Fagham, the bodyguard of King Salman, who was killed recently and his cause caused a sensation.

And Al-Sanea said in a tweet on her Twitter, confirmed information about the disappearance of Saudi intelligence officer Fahd al-Fakher two months ago and is a friend of the late King’s Guard, Major General Abdul Aziz bin Badah Al-Fagham.

The Saudi dissent attributed the reason to the suspicion of “Al-Fakher” in special councils on the story of Muhammad bin Salman about the killing of his father’s guard.

According to some relatives of al-Fakhir, as the Saudi opposition stated, Jumana al-Sanea, he is a fierce security man who follows the General Intelligence or General Intelligence headquarters, known for his bad manners and disregard for the lives of people, and he has a decisive opinion in liquidating all opponents of Lal Saud, as many young men and activists have been killed by him under torture past years.

It is noteworthy that last November, a famous account with its political leaks on Twitter detonated a surprise of a large caliber, and it was alleged that the killing of Major General Abdulaziz Al-Fagham, the bodyguard of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, last September did not happen with gunfire in the city of Jeddah following a “personal dispute” with Mamdouh Al Ali as the official version mentioned.

It is noteworthy that, on Sunday, September 29, 2019, the Saudi police announced the killing of Major General Abdulaziz Al-Fagham, the bodyguard of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, by shooting in Jeddah following a “personal dispute.”

Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faghem was known to be very close to King Salman and to protect him in many situations. Al-Fagam was also a bodyguard for the late King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, to complement the path of his father, Major General Badah, who worked as a personal escort for King Abdullah for 30 years.

And in mid-2017, King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree to promote Abdulaziz Aziz Al-Faghem (exceptional upgrade) to the rank of major general.

A “reliable and knowledgeable” source revealed the cause of the killing of Major General Abdul Aziz Al-Fagham, the bodyguard of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The source asserted that the reason behind the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s liquidation of the private and loyal guard of his father, “General Al-Fagham”, was that the latter would convey to King Salman the real conditions around the Yemen war, the attacks on Aramco, and the dissatisfaction of a group of military officers with the Crown Prince’s actions.

The source said that King Salman follows the news of the country for one hour only because the disease exhausted him and barely awake for two hours, then he spends the rest of the day between painkillers and sleep.

King Salman also instructs his bodyguard, Major General Al-Fagam, to inform him of the real conditions of the country, including the Yemen war, after he lost confidence in his surroundings and no longer trusts his son, the crown prince. The ocean is under great pressure from the crown prince to present the news that he himself – the crown prince – chooses to the king.

The same source revealed that a number of officers were liquidated due to doubts about their loyalty to the Crown Prince due to their reservations about the way the Crown Prince conducted the Yemen war and the great human losses among the soldiers that are not announced and opened channels with some princes for a rescue scenario from within the royal family and not through Inconspicuous coup so far.

“Among those officers who were accompanying King Salman on official occasions, they will not appear again on the occasions,” the source added.
