Houthis target a “sensitive” target in Saudi’s capital
The Yemeni Ansar Allah group (Houthis) launched a missile and drones attack today on what they called an “important target” in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The group’s military spokesman, Muhammad Abd al-Salam, said that “the bombing was on an important target in the capital of the aggression, in response to the continuous escalation of the enemy and its continuous siege,” as he put it.
He added that “the joint operation on Riyadh was carried out with a ballistic missile of the Zulfiqar type, and 4 Samad 3 drones.”
The Houthi group threatens the Al Saud regime with a number of operations if it continues its aggression and siege.
Saudi Arabia has not yet commented on what the Houthis announced.
This is the fourth air bombardment on Saudi Arabia after the targeting of Abha International Airport in the south of the Kingdom.
