The Saudi soldiers continue to bleed due to its regime’s criminal war on Yemen and the corresponding counter-attacks and operations of the Ansar al-Houthi group.
Saudi media said eight Saudi soldiers were killed in confrontations with the Huthis in the southern border of the kingdom, while the Houthi group announced the implementation of attacks by aircraft marching towards Saudi territory.
For its part, Al-Masirah channel owned by the Houthis reported that dozens of those described as “mercenaries of the Saudi army” were killed on Wednesday “in an attack by the army and the Popular Committees on their positions in the Asir Front.”
Houthi media also reported that the group’s fighters were able to stop the advance of the Saudi off the Najran, Jazan and Asir borders after clashes.
According to the group’s media, the Saudi army used Apache helicopters as part of the attack.
The clashes came a day after al-Houthi group claimed control of three military posts in the Asir sector, southwest of the kingdom.
At the same time, the military spokesman in the name of the Houthis said that they carried out a large operation towards the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushayt in Asir with a number drones.
The spokesman added that the attack targeted the barracks of warplanes, ammunition and processing sites and other sensitive sites.
On the other hand, the Saudi alliance said, “we shot a drone launched by the Huthis from Sanaa towards the city of Khamis Mushait.”
The Saudi system continues to purchase arms and military equipment, especially multi-billion-dollar missile defense systems.
The latest deal was signed with Lockheed Martin company under a new contract worth $ 1.48 billion to build the THAAD missile defense system in the kingdom, raising the total value of the deal to $ 5.36 billion, which was contracted months ago.
But despite all these billions Houthis continue to target the Saudi’s security and inflict painful blows on the Al Saud regime.
