The Saudi regime continues the policy of courtship Ansar Allah group, the “Houthis”, and asked to negotiate with it after the failure of their war in Yemen and Riyadh’s fear of a repeat of the incident of the oil giant Aramco’s attack, which incurred heavy losses to the Kingdom.
In an indirect Saudi offer to request dialogue with Houthi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir said in statements that “all Yemenis, including the Houthis, have a role in the future of Yemen.”
In response to this offer, a prominent leader of the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group said, “The Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir and his masters must wake up.”
The group’s negotiating member, Salim al-Mughals, responded to Al-Jubeir’s remarks by saying that “the future of Yemen is not determined by Washington, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, but is determined by the Yemeni people.”
And Al-Mughals continued, according to the Houthi channel, Al-Masirah, that Saudi Arabia and America should leave their dreams that have gone beyond reality and it has become very impossible to return to Yemen because of its dependency, or that they will have any role in the future of Yemen, so they have to understand the developments and reality, for today Yemen Not yesterday’s caiman.”
Al-Jubeir said, “There is the possibility of reaching a truce followed by a settlement in Yemen,” adding that “all Yemenis, including the Houthis, have a role in the future of Yemen.”
Al-Jubeir warned that Iran’s interference in Yemen would be “destructive,” stressing the special importance of Yemen to the kingdom, adding that Iran believes in the principle of exporting the revolution and does not respect the sovereignty of states, stressing the need to “be tough with it,” noting that Iran threatens the entire region and is no longer one of You can tolerate its aggression, demanding that it be deprived of the tools threatening the region and the world.
On the possibility of a military confrontation with Iran, Al-Jubeir said: “No one is seeking war.”
And media reports of the American “Associated Press” quoted sources and officials as saying that Riyadh and the Houthis in Yemen are currently holding indirect talks behind the scenes to end the devastating war that lasted 5 years in Yemen.
The US agency said that secret negotiations are taking place in the Sultanate of Oman, especially as it is a Gulf country on the borders with both Yemen and the Kingdom, and Oman plays the role of “mediator”.
